“Good Service Guarantee”
Anytime, if you feel that service was not up to par, let us know by writing a note on the table comment card (or email us) detailing why*, and a gift card will be sent to you for double of the amount of the service charge that was added to your check.
*give us the date, time and table location, and as many details as possible for us to pinpoint the problem
Our Service Charge Policy:
We are very happy with the great response from our patrons about our automatic service charge policy. Checking the comment cards, 97 out of 100 patrons reported great service and a wonderful experience.
But just in case something goes wrong, and of course it can, we’re only human! We offer our “good service guarantee”. This encourages customers to all be our “secret shoppers”.
We do not accept any tips or gratuities because we are all professionals doing quality work, providing a quality experience, and that we do not want to work for tips.
We believe that our work is great and our product is great, and that has a price. The price includes a fair wage for all of us to do a professional job. We would all rather get a regular paycheck and have work benefits, like any other professional person, instead of the “feast or famine” experience of the tipped person.
If you feel that your experience was exceptional, whatever you leave behind will be given to our musicians. who perform our live music nightly. You can just go ahead and drop it in their tip jar, (which is the only place tips are allowed in our establishment.) or we will, after you go.
Is there a service charge for to-go orders?
No, the charge is for table or bar service only. Our food does taste better right off the grill, so we encourage you to eat here when possible. Plus, it’s more fun.
Why do you charge tax on the service charge?
The State of California requires a tax on the service charge, as per Regulation 1603 (g)(2)(B). They require us to collect the tax and send it to them.
